GW: Biggest contender in MMORPG

Guild wars or GW is one of the biggest contenders in MMORPGS. After being released it managed to capture majority of the online gaming community. Guild wars delivered a unique mmo setting which centered on solo playing and multiplayer co-op action. Guild wars are set in a world torn by war and multiple factions. GW also featured revolutionary technology such as streaming patch updates. Along with many of these features GW also developed an extremely epic player versus player division. Players were able to create high level characters and dive straight into the intense areas. Another factor that set GW apart from other MMORPGs was the one off payment. There were no recurring monthly fees and players were allowed free game time. Apart from these benefits I found guild wars to be a truly amazing fantasy setting that were delivered in all avenues.
Guild wars uses high end graphics and was used in an expansive universe. Players are also able to experience a truly unique class system which allows skills from various classes to be mixed and matched. The spells are balanced depending on the class using it. Therefore it is possible to have a melee class capable of regeneration using magic or mana. Not only is this useful for general questing but is also a great asset in PvP action. As a player travels along the single player content he unlocks many spells which are then made available via PvP.
GW is one of the biggest online games available on PC. Multiple expansions have been released with a large amount of new content. The new streaming technology allows players to play while patches and content updates are downloading. The player versus player aspect of the game allows constant action and a player of any level can join and compete. NCsoft hold tournaments which are and can be entered for free. A guild war is highly popular and has had many positive reviews from critics and gamers alike. GW is one of the greatest fantasy adventures on the market. Any MMO player will be guaranteed months' worth of fun and entertainment as they travel through Tyria.
